LOVE A BIT OF DURACELL BUNNY AND THE OYSTER CLUB

I pride myself on being a duracell bunny with masses of energy, however TD has taken a lot of that away and I am only slowly regaining it. However I do love meeting like duracell bunnies, so having coffee with the fabulous Tanya Rennick today was brilliant. Although we did not speak about half the things we had intended, I left her feeling on a high and super-energised. She is like wheat-grass and spirulina – rolled into one, except not green and incredibly beautiful. And a super inspiration with her networking club – http://www.theoysterclub.co.uk/.

Hotpants are still going and oh yes.. his nibs said that I was looking trimmer. Hooray.  Am now starting Matt Roberts’ two week hard-core diet and exercise routine. If you see a crazy woman licking the bakery window in the village – yes it will be me.  If I look particularly crazed, throw me a doughnut – please.

SHARON’S BLOG IS MANICMOTHER.NET AND A THOROUGHLY GOOD READ!

I am (ALMOST) lost for words. I don’t know about incredible beauty, it was a dark corner and the light was very forgiving…

Actually in terms of being like a Duracell Bunny, I recommend raw juicing daily! I also believe that choosing joy is key to lifting energy levels and in fact, you left me feeling exactly the same way.

But Manic Mother, considering TD is but a few months old, I think you are a shining example of what can be achieved with sheer willpower. There you were this morning, an exotic and smouldering beauty, with your brain firing on all cylinders. Clever and gorgeous…How many others could say that? A femme fatal and also a mum of two! Most mothers of small babies are still in their trackies (did they actually sleep in them and just pull on those ubiquitous Uggs?)

  2. Tanya IS a Duracell bunny!

…and I like Sharons blog. Some great different angles and interesting personal experiences.

Thank you Tamsin – I do like the new handle!

Sharon’s blog is well worth signing up to. She is a very talented and amusing writer.

      Thanks for your input T

Yes, I’m down with the raw juice and the spirulina – it’s amazing what it can do even when you let your routine lapse and then start again.

Thanks for sharing here Manic Mother! :-) Agreed, Tanya is the Oyster Club’s Duracell Bunny.
I don’t know how she does it all!

I agree Laura, even if you lapse, or have it in addition to other naughtiness!

You are too kind – I do love being a Duracell Bunny – in fact, I wouldn’t have it any other way! ;-D

I love the expression, “If you want something done, ask a busy person…” In other words, I don’t know how I do it all, but I’m very lucky that I have the opportunity to!

  4. Manic Mother, From one mother of two (soon three) to another…. I can totally relate to the “low-energised-Duracell-bunny-feeling”. It might take a while before you have regained your old level, but the fact that you are out and about (and without trackies and Uggs) seems to me that it won’t be long before you will be back to your energetic self.

Tanya, I will certainly try the raw juicing after delivery, because I am going to need my energy back soon. There is so much to do this year, which I can’t wait to start on.

One of the “to-go-to’s” on the list is attending the Oyster Club meetings. Once I am back on my feet (not too long after baby is born, I hope) and I will be able to attend I am looking forward to meeting you both there.

Venita, I can assure you Manic Mother puts most of us to shame! She is super glam!

I’m delighted that you will try the raw juicing after delivery. You could do it now, or make some fantastic smoothies. That, of course and chocolate!

I do very much look forward to welcoming you to the Oyster Club, whenever you are ready. :-)

Gosh, at this rate we’ll end up having a juice fest! That said, today I think I have actually consumed my own body weight in cookies and chocolate…

Sharon, it would be great to see you all together at an Oyster event, I think you would all get on wonderfully well!

Great blog post. Love the angle.

You’ve also reminded me to get back into my daily juicing which lapsed over the holiday period. Great slow release healthy energy x

    • Tanya says:

      Thank you Karen!

I continue to juice even when I eat lots of other unhealthier foods. That way, at least I know I got my vitamins and as you say, slow release healthy energy.

I’m so glad it’s reminded you!

      Thanks Karen
